Bath Parade Gardens

A gloriously hot summer day awaited us in the floral garden at Bath. There was quite an audience – various people enjoying the weather; sat on deck chairs or upon the grass. We couldn’t keep our jackets on for long despite the shade granted by the bandstand!

During the two hours (with a brief pause for ice-cream,) quite a variety of tunes were played – from a ‘Star Wars’ medley to the ‘Birth of the Blues’ and ‘Musket, Fife and Drum’.

Huge congratulations to Angela, playing the solo for ‘Embraceable You’ on her alto saxophone for the first time! It sounded gorgeous.
