Whilst the afternoon was rather colder than expected for May, there was a great turnout of visitors to the park and many tunes were played including our Star Wars medley for “May the Fourth” and recent additions to our repertoire that we have been practising over the winter months such as New York, New York and Blue Tango.
Honouring VE Day (8th May) we also played “1914 March”, “British Legion March” and “I Vow to Thee My Country”. The bandstand was packed full to bursting with 23 musicians, playing 16 pieces in total.
